Hi Luv et alii,
|Greed is the soil from which all inter relational problems grow.|
There was a time when this question was a side issue. But in a world with an ever increasing human population and a very limited resource pie it is no longer a side issue.
Allow me to introduce Ms. X.
She has a talent that society values. She could be an artist, musician, writer, athlete or anything else. All that really matters is that society values her talent and she has become rich.
Obviously she will need to spend some of her wealth on necessities. Some she will want to spend on objects that are not necessities but will make her life better. Perhaps then she will move into conspicuous consumption?
Can society say to her 'enough is enough'. You have moved from enjoying the fruits of your labour into immoral consumption of ever dwindling resources?
Take care, stay safe,
The Old Man
